Queens Elizabeth Home (Transport/Equipment)

The Queen Elizabeth Home for Children is a home for abused and abandoned children located in Tempe Grenada. It is a Not for Profit Charity registered by an Act of Parliament on the island of Grenada and was originally started in the 1950’s. The Home itself was built in 1964 and is the oldest such home on the island. They are currently 28 children in the home.

Project Summary

The Trust provided funding for the purchase of a 16-seater Toyota Hiace High Roof bus, used solely for the operational activities of the Home. The bus will be used to transport the children to and from school, church and to recreational or social activities. The Trust also purchased an industrial washing machine and dryer for the Home.
