Queen Elizabeth Home for Children (Grenada) – New Bus

The Queen Elizabeth Home for Children is the oldest children’s Home in Grenada.  It was founded by a group of concerned citizens who recognized the need to help the island’s destitute and uncared for children.  The group formed themselves into a Children’s Home Advisory Board to raise funds for the stated purpose through voluntary contributions.  The Home has been opened since 1964 and is overseen by a Board of Trustees.

Project Summary

The Home has been previously funded by The Maria Holder Memorial Trust for many of its worthwhile initiatives with the most recent being the acquisition of new bus which will help to transport the Children of the Home to and from various activities.  The main objective will be to provide safe and reliable transportation for the children at the Queen Elizabeth Home for Children.
