The Queen Elizabeth Home for Children is the oldest children’s Home in Grenada. It was founded by a group of concerned citizens who recognized the need to help the island’s destitute and uncared for children. The group formed themselves into a Children’s Home Advisory Board to raise funds for the stated purpose through voluntary contributions. The Home has been opened since 1964 and is overseen by a Board of Trustees.
