The East Dominica Children’s Federation (EDCF) is a local non-profit organisation and a former official implementation partner of ChildFund Caribbean. The East Dominica Children’s Federation (EDCF) has been working with vulnerable Children and Youth from birth to 24 years old and their families primarily within the Eastern Communities of Dominica.
Project Summary
This project comprises a series of workshops within a child assault prevention programme that will teach preventative methods to children in order to protect themselves from all forms of violence and to reassure them that they have a voice. Another component of the project aims to promote positive, healthy behaviour and decision making skills through active participation and engagement within communities. This project will have positive impacts on the social environment contributing to safer Schools, homes and Communities.
