The Child Care Board is governed by the Ministry of Family Culture Sports & Youth under the Government of Barbados. This Board is a Statutory Body established by the Child Care Board Act of 1969 amended 1981. The Board’s functions are to provide and maintain Child Care Centres for children in need of care and protection.
Project Summary
The Trust’s donation will facilitate the renovation and extension of the existing structure and re-outfitting of the Farrs Children’s Home. Works done to the Home will provide the children with a renovated and fully equipped and enhanced learning environment providing space for study and learning. It will also be able to accommodate an increased number of children.
