The Barbados Association for Supported Employment (BASE) is a registered Charity No. 801 and was established on 3 March 2009. It is a division of The Learning Centre which is located at Orange Hill, St James. The organisation provides sheltered employment and social support for young persons with developmental disabilities as well as educational and training programmes catering to children with learning disabilities who are between the ages of 4 to 18 years.
Project Summary
The Trust’s donation will enable BASE to acquire additional equipment to enhance and expand their current operation.
