Queen Elizabeth Home (construction)

The Queen Elizabeth Home for Children is a home for abused and abandoned children located in Tempe Grenada. It is a Not for Profit Charity registered by an Act of Parliament on the island of Grenada and was originally started in the 1950’s. The Home itself was built in 1964 and is the oldest such home on the island. They are currently 28 children in the home.

Project Summary

The Trust embraced The Queen Elizabeth Home for Children and was able to provide funding to construct additional facilities to double the intake of children, as well as renovating and refurbishing the existing building to complement the new facilities. The Home will be able to accommodate approximately 50 children when the extension is complete and will provide a safe environment for the resident children. There is also a newly constructed Therapy Building for the children and teachers.
