Cancer Support Services is a registered Charity (No. 316), which was founded and registered in 1996. It was formed primarily to assist patients with cancer and their immediate families. The organisation is committed through a spirit of volunteerism to the care of persons with cancer and to bring comfort to the affected relatives and dependents. Over the past nineteen (19) years, Cancer Support Services has supported and delivered programme initiatives that address the fundamental needs of those affected by cancer, including patients and family members.
The donation provided by The Maria Holder Memorial Trust will enable Cancer Support Services to continue to provide aid under three of its key programmes, particularly in the areas of Counselling, Support and Training; At Home Hospice Care and Prevention and Early Detection – PSA Screening.
